Statement of Faith

We at Jesus is Alpha and Omega Ministries (JAOM) believe that there are eight essential doctrines of the Christian Faith that a believer must believe in regardless of denomination or affiliation.  We at JAOM hold steadfast to the following beliefs:

Doctrine of the Trinity-That God by nature has revealed Himself through three Persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit  (Genesis 1:26, 3:22, 11:7, Isaiah 6:8, 48:16, 61:1, Matthew 3:16-17, 28:19, 2  Corinthians 13:14)

Deity of Christ-Jesus Christ is 100% God, and 100% man (John 1:1-16, Colossians 2:9)

The Holy Spirit-Third member of the Triune God, (John 16:14-15, Acts 2:33)

The Virgin Birth-Jesus Christ was born through immaculate conception between virgin Mary and the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 1:18-24)

Salvation-Comes as a gift of grace by faith in Jesus Christ alone. (Acts 4:10-12).

Bodily Resurrection-That Jesus Christ rose from the grave on the third day after His crucifixion. (Matthew 16:21)

Bodily Second Coming-That Jesus Christ shall return in the same body in which He departed. (Acts 1:11)

Inerrancy of Scripture- The Bible, as originally written, God’s Word without error. (2 Timothy 3:16-17, 2 Peter 1:16-21)
