Integrity Plus Men’s Program
What is Integrity Plus?
Integrity Plus is a Christian organization that seeks to display the love of Jesus Christ through work relationships with the “at risk” community, that society, the general population, wants to disregard and disrespect because of their negative past.
As a Christian organization, we reserve the right to incorporate Christian principles, such as prayer and bible study, to the groups when needed. Christian principles also include the principle guidelines that are needed for decision making during the daily operations. Principles such as, “you reap what you sow” (Galatians 6:8), and, “if you are faithful over a few things you will be ruler over many” (Matthew 25:21).
The Purpose of Integrity Plus
The purpose of Integrity Plus is to assist those who are trying to return to positive social living and may be struggling to get their life together. There are three things that the at-risk population is in need of that Integrity Plus will provide. They are:
- Moral Values Program – includes values such as integrity, stewardship, servanthood, faithfulness, and truthfulness. These values are needed to clean up negative “at risk thinking patterns” so that at risk men can survive in a functional social order.
- Skills Development Program – produces professionalism. The development of work and living skills can prevent young at-risk men from returning to the hood system of thinking that produces a life of incarceration, drug dealing, and thuggish behavior patterns that could ultimately lead to death.
- Network – works to place at risk men into a positive environment for social change. (Positive environment refers to improved home and apartment living, better employment opportunities, and a higher standard of self respect).
